External and Public Relations Department of the Bank of Russia informs that on May 3, 2005, the Bank of Russia issued the following memorial coins made of precious metals:

- silver coin at the face value of 2 roubles devoted to Russian famous writer M.A.Sholokhov;

- silver coin at the face value of 2 roubles and golden coin at the face value of 25 roubles devoted to the Lion from the Signs of Zodiac series;

- two silver coins at the face value of three roubles devoted to Russian church in Kaliningrad and to Kropotkinskaya metro station in Moscow;

- silver coin at the face value of three roubles and golden coin at the face value of 50 roubles devoted to the track and field athletics championship in Helsinki (August 24 – September 2, 2005).
