VII International Diamond Auction organised by ALROSA and Diamond Chamber of Russia has finished its work. It was started on March 21 and last for a month.

36 diamond companies from Russia, the USA, India, Israel, Belgium, UAE participated in the tenders.

133 boxes (901 gemstones) with total weight over 15.6 thou ct including 19 gemstones weighing over 50 ct each were put up for the auction.

The results of the tenders were published in April 21, 2005. Diamonds worth over $25 mln were sold, the largest gemstone being 232.76 ct and cost more than $912 thou.
