IA REGNUM reports that diamonds cutting plants of Sakha Republic (Yakutia) will maintain the same production volumes. They will continue getting large diamonds weighing 5 ct and more from ALROSA Company. Such an agreement was made on April 4 in Yakutia between JSC ALROSA and Yakut diamonds cutting companies.

In 2004 Yakut diamonds cutting companies produced diamonds $345 mln worth, gemstones $262 mln were sold outside the Republic. The agreement made will allow the companies to increase diamonds production.
