According to IA REGNUM, the CEO of Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant Igor Tikhov commented on the company’s development strategy for the nearest future. He mentioned that the main task is to diversify the business to the fullest but in the context of precious metals processing. That means that the Plant plans to fulfil all the technological process starting from gold and platinum reefing and finishing to jewellery making.

The plant should be based on four main businesses: refining, alloys production, jewellery production and technical items manufacturing. Their shares in the company’s profits should be equal. By 2008 the plant is going to have reached these proportions. Now, as it has been informed by Mr Tikhov, the situation is the following: refining – 35-40%, jewellery – 25%, alloys production – 20%, technical items manufacturing – 15%.
