In January – March 2005 Kazakhmys corporation mined 9.5 mln tons of ore (the same period last year – 8.2 tons). According to Kazinform, this period the company produced 407 kg of gold that is more than in January – March 2004 – 345 kg. Silver production has been increased from 119 to 154 tons as well.
