According to Day.Az, the President of Azerbaijan Ilkham Aliev sihmed an order on the highest award in the country – Geidar Aliev medal.

The medal consists of two parts: the first should be put on clothes and it has the shape of eight-corners star, the second part is a medallion decorated with gold, silver and 232 diamonds.
