The governor of Magadan region Nikolai Dudov held a meeting in Khasynskiy area devoted to the development of local industries. This information has been provided by the press service of the governor.

In particular, it was reported during the meeting that Kolyma Refining Plant is increasing its silver production. In 2004 it amounted to 139.7 tons while in 2003 it was by 36.7% less. As for gold refining, its production fell down by 13.4% due to works interruption at Matrosov’s pit and gold mining decrease at Kubaka deposit and amounted in 2004 to 24.7 tons.
