In 2004 gold mining companies of Sverdlovsk region produced goods over 2.4 bln roubles worth. According to UralBusinessConsulting,two companies – Neyva and Zoloto Severnogo Urala – enter the 23 Russian largest gold mining companies.

Gold mining structure is changing in Sverdlovsk region – alluvial gold mining volume is decreasing while ore gold mining has been growing up.
