On February 2 at VII International conference devoted to Russia’s gold mining a representative of Polymetal Company – the deputy CEO of the company Vladimir Kazakov – made a report. His speech was connected with the situation in Russian gold mining market. In particular, Mr Kazakov mentioned that in 2004 the company’s gold mining growth amounted at 58.3% (up to 6.826 tons) as compared to 2003 results. The significant increase is explained by the growth of gold mining volumes in Khabarovsk and Magadan regions.
