An enterprise of Ural Mining Complex – OJSC Uralelektromed – in 2004 increased gold and silver bullions production by 2.7% and 32.0% respectively as compared to 2003 figures. PGM production amounted to 177%.

Gold mining at Nevyanskiy mine in 2004 totalled to 132% of 2003 level, PGM mining – 204%.
