On January 29 Coins and Medals Numismatics company organises a numismatic auction in Moscow, Tverskaya str, 21 (Russian History Museum). 580 lots, golden and silver coins, and medals from both Russia and abroad will be put up for tenders.

The most interesting lots include a coin at the face value of 12 roubles issued in 1831 in St.-Petersburg and made of pure Ural platinum. Its starting price is $26000. Another platinum coin that will be presented was coined in 1705 and will cost at least $17700.

Golden rouble coined in 1756 and a silver rouble dated from 1801 have the starting price of $10000.
