In 2004 OJSC Polymetall conducted geological searching works in 7 regions of Russia: Magadan, Sverdlovsk, Chita and Sakhalin regions, Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk krais and Buryatia Republic.

The company invested about US$ 8 mln into geological searching, 30% of them were spent for additional exploration, 70% - for new deposits searching.
