On February 2, 2005, JUNWEX Show will start in St.-Petersburg in Lenexpo Complex. The Show will be opened by the President of CIBJO Gaetano Cavalieri. It will be the first his visit to St.-Petersburg.

Every year thousands of visitors come to the Show in order to enjoy all the magnificence of jewellery articles presented there. In 2004 JUNWEX was certified UFE as the most popular jewellery show in Eastern Europe. This year the organisers forecast that from February 2 to 6, 2005, over 1500 customers will visit the Show.

The programme of the Show is very rich and includes in particular, X National Jewellers Contest. This event is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Diamond Chamber of Russia, Assay Office, Russian Diamonds Producers Association and Jewellers Guild of Russia. The jury of the contest consists of the experts from the State Hermitage, Russian Museum and the Kremlin. In the context of JUNWEX 2005 the International Jewellery Haute Couture Festival will be held. Such famous Russian jewellery companies as Russkie Samotcvety, Almaz-Holding, Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant, Treasury House Yekaterinburg will present their brand new collections. The programme of JUNWEX 2005 includes as well numerous auctions, workshops and presentations.
