In 2004 gold and currency reserves of Russia increased by 61.9%
PRIME-TASS reports that in 2004 gold and currency reserves of Russia increased by $47.603 bln or 61.9% — from $76.938 bln on January 1, 2004, to $124.541 bln on January 1, 2005. The level reached is a next record, the Central Bank of Russia says.
Gold reserves, however, reduced from $3.763 bln to $3.732 bln.
