In January 2005 the Central Bank of Russia plans to issue a memorial coin devoted to 250th anniversary of Moscow State University. The coin has the face value of three roubles and is made of silver. The number of coins issued is planned to be 10 thou pcs.

This year the Bank intends to issue 56 more kinds of memorial and investments coins made of precious metals.
