Interfax informs that in 2005 ALROSA will develop its mining, geological searching and its activity in related fields. The plan for 2005 was made according to the company’s strategy for the nearest 10 years.

ALROSA has started considering the measures for insuring against economic factors. In particular, the company have signed agreements with Vneshtorgbank and Citibank on currency risks hedging.

Besides, ALROSA is paying attention to its risks diversification in order not to depend on diamonds mining only.
