From January 17 to 28 2005 the company Coins and Medals is organising an exhibition named Russian and Foreign Coins and Medals of XVII – XX centuries. The Winter Numismatics Auction will finish the exhibition on January 29.

Among the most interesting lots of the auction there are silver coins dated from 1702 and 1705, a silver rouble coined in 1741 in Moscow, golden coins issued in 1756 in St.-Petersburg.

The exposition will consist of Russian coins and coins brought from Germany, Italy, the USA, Brazil, Bulgaria, Romania and other countries.
