As it has been reported by RIA Novosti, the National Assembly of Armenia has approved the law On currency regulation and control. The previous law, according to the experts, has failed to satisfy the requirements of the country in many cases. The current law excludes precious metals and jewellery (except for banking metals and the articles of historical value) from the list of currency values. The list includes Armenian drahm.
