ITAR-TASS informs that the volume of gold mined in January – October last year in Amursk region amounted to over 12.5 tons. However, this record will be broken — this year the gold miners of the region plan to exceed last year 13.1 tons of gold result.

One of the largest mines in the region is Pokrovskiy pit. This year it intends to get 4.5 tons of precious metal — a ton more than in 2003.
