In 2004 Sverdlovsk region gold mining companies have doubled their production as compared to 1999 figures. This information has been provided by UralPolit.ru.

In order to improve the situation in gold mining sector 35,3 mln roubles were allocated in 2004. It allowed to increase considerably the resources, to build and to reconstruct gold mining complexes at several deposits.
