According to kuban.info, the police of Krasnodar krai have arrested a member of criminal group, which has been smuggling gold in the region. The man managed to transport illegally 12 kg of gold but was arrested in the airport.

The group has smuggled golden jewellery from Turkey, assayed them in Russia and sold them in Krasnodar, Rostov and Moscow regions.
