Novy region publishes that now there are about 300 deposits registered in Chelyabinsk region, with gold resources being estimated at 370 tons. According to the concept of gold mining industry development, in 2005 gold mining volume in the region will total to 4.2 tons, and by 2010 these figures will have increased up to 4.9 tons annually.
