Next year Polimetall Company intends to double its gold production as compared to 2003 figures. According to the company’s CEO Vitaliy Nesis, next year it is planned to mine over 10 tons and in 2006 — 11.7-12 tons of gold.

This year the company’s production is forecasted to amount to 6.5 tons of gold and 650 tons of silver. In the nearest future Polimetall doesn’t plan to buy new deposits except or the participation in Sukhoi Log auction.

Mr Nesis informed as well that this year Polimetall precious metals export will amount to the half of silver and gold production. Next year export will be increased up to 98%. Now the company exports gold to Switzerland and silver — to UAE.
