On November 4 the GOKHRAN of Russia held a diamond auction. 36 Russian cutting companies had applied for the participation but five of them failed to take part.

891 natural diamonds with total weight 17.607 ct (404 lots) were put up for auction. 338 lots (83.5% of the weight) were sold, the total sum paid being $37.471 (162.7% of the limit value).
