NSK.Ru informs that the scientists from Novosibirsk State Technical University are conducting a number of experiments aimed at new gold mining technology creation. The first result of the tests was creating of 0.01 g of gold – the amount that used to be thought non-existent.

The current methods of gold mining as well as the equipments that are applied by Russian mining companies have become out-of-date. They allow to get only a half of the precious metal contained in the ore. The scientists hope that their experiments will help in gold mining industry developing and its volumes increasing.
