RIA Novosti reports that the National Bank of Byelorussia plans to triple its gold and currency reserves in course of the nearest five years. It is expected that by 2010 Byelorussian reserves will have grown up to $3 bln.

Now the volume of gold and currency reserves of Byelorussia amounts to $1 bln 24.4 mln.
