IA REGIONS.RU informs that Khakasia gold mining production have been reduced. In 2003 the enterprises of the region produced 2300 kg of precious metals including 1700 kg of gold. It is by 20% less that in 2002. It is connected with several problems such as deposits exhausted conditions and ecological situation. Experts say that gold resources of the region amount to 230 tons.
