IV International Diamond Auction started in Moscow on August 23 2004. It was organised by JSC ALROSA together with Diamond Chamber of Russia. 33 Russian and foreign companies participated in the auction.

72 boxes weighing about 9.95 thou ct including 16 large diamonds were put up for the auction. The largest stone presented at the tenders weighs over 96 ct.

On October 5 the results of the auction were estimated. 71 boxes $14.4 mln worth were sold. This information was provided by ALROSA press service.
