As it has been reported by Pomorye Broadcasting Company, on September 6 Severalmaz Holding held a meeting devoted to the results of Lomonosov’s diamond deposit development – exploitation works started a year ago there. Now the depth of pit is about 30 metres and almost all mining works have been finished. The next step is factory building. It will cost over $8 mln and its launch is expected at the beginning of 2005. The planned capacity of the factory will be a million tons of ore a year.
