As it has been published by the official site of the Bank of Russia, on September 6 the volume of gold and currency reserves amounted to $88.702 bln. On January 1 2004 gold and currency reserves totalled to $76.938 bln and on August 1 – $88.61 bln. Thus since the beginning if the year it has increased by 15.3%, and in August its growth was 0.1%.
