As it has been published by Gazeta.Kz, the governmental geological department of Tajikistan together with foreign companies plan to start geological exploration works at several gold and silver deposits.

For example, silver deposit Akjilga will be explored by British Maracand Minerals Limited, gold Ikar deposit – by British Anglotajik Mineralsinc. Domestic company Pakrut will examine Pakrut gold deposit.
