On August 18 2004there was a meeting of JSC ALROSA board held. As it has been reported by the company’s press service, the agenda of the meeting included the results consideration in the first six months of 2004. During this period the company sold production $1051.5 mln worth including $65.4 mln of cut diamonds.

Diamonds $809.1 mln worth were mined that is 102.5 % of the amount planned.

The board examined and approved the development of Angola projects.
