As it has been published by YASIA, the Ministry of Industry of Sakha Republic (Yakutia) has estimated the results of Republic cutting enterprises work in 2004. This year the companies have cut 149% of the diamonds planned that is $110 mln worth.

In order to promote Yakut diamonds in the international market the new trademark – The Sakha-Yakutian Diamond – has been established. These gemstones will be sold in the USA, Europe and Asia. All the information about the gemstones will be mentioned in the certificate and the diamonds themselves will have laser engraving “Mined and cut in Sakha Republic (Yakutia)”.
