IA KNews reports that the CEO of MMC Norilsk Nickel Mikhail Prokhorov has commented on the situation with the strike that is taking place at the company’s subsidiary in the USA Stillwater Mining Company.

Mr Prokhorov accused the US Union management of the strike as the Union management has not explained the workers all the conditions of the new agreement. The strike started on July 14 2004. Mr Prokhorov expressed the hope that the problem will be solved soon.
