According to the Independent Information Agency, Krasnoyarsk krai has huge mineral resources and great part of them has not been yet developed. Experts say that the region needs large investments in order to search and exploit precious metals deposits, in particular, gold and PMG deposits.

In April the regional administration organised an investment forum and this event is expected to attract the attention of finance companies to the mineral resources of the region.
