In the first six months of 2004 Kaliningrad Amber Mining Complex mined 122.353 tons of amber. This year extracting works at the enterprise started on March 10. In April – December 2003 the company mined 188.5 tons of mineral. Experts state that this year mining volumes have grown up considerably.
