On July 1 there was a meeting of the Committee of precious metals and gemstones organised, it was headed by the Committee chairman, Gold Mining Polus Company’s board chairman V. Rudakov.

The agenda of the meeting included several questions: the development of jewellery sector information provision aimed at Russian companies promoting in the world’s market, preparation works for Russian Jewellers Meeting and Precious Metals and Gemstones Business Conference 2004, the Committee participation in legislation.
