This year Canadian Bema Gold Company plans to treble the volume of works conducted at Kupol gold deposit. Recently the company’s management has visited the region and the deposit. Bema Gold intends to start the deposit exploitation as soon as possible, now geological exploration works being conducted there. The company plans to have started precious metals mining by 2007 at the deposit. Bema Gold experts estimate the deposit resources at 180 tons of gold and 210 tons of silver. $400 mln will be invested in the factory building.
