According to RIA Novosti, about 15 kg of gold have been confiscated at the territory of Far East during Nugget operation. The operation aimed at prevention illegal precious metals and gemstones turnover started at the end of April and will finish in July. The leaders in illegal gold washing and mining are Yakutia and Magadan region.

In the context of Nugget operation there have been 20 people arrested – they were washing the precious metal illegally.
