As it has been informed by BelTa, it is allowed to export and import raw diamonds from Byelorussia only in case they have Kimberley process or Byelorussian certificates. This decision was made by the Ministries Council of the country. As it has been already informed, Byelorussia joined Kimberley process certification scheme in April 2003.

The Ministry of Finance will control raw diamonds import and export; it will issue certificates and gain the information connected with these aspects.
