As it has been published by YASIA, on May 21 the meeting of ALROSA Supervisory Council took place in Moscow. The meeting was headed by Alexei Kudrin, the Minister of Finance and the chairman of the Council.

The Council approved the company’s annual report for 2003. In particular, the report provides the principal results of the company’s work in 2003: diamonds $1649 mln worth were mined, production 56752.3 mln roubles worth was realised; the net profit of the company amounted to 9663.2 mln roubles; 1146.8 mln roubles were invested into geological works.

The Council recommended to increase dividends payments up to 6000 roubles per a share or totally 1200 mln roubles.
