Sem40.ru publishes that on Friday, May 21, 2004, the representatives of Israeli cutting industry finished their visit to Russia where they had met ALROSA CEO Vladimir Kalitin. According to the delegation, Mr Kalitin announced about forthcoming abolishment of limits imposed on the company and ALROSA would be able to enter the world’s market. Thus, it will get the opportunity to supply Israel with raw diamonds.

Now the company is under the State control and in addition limited by the agreement with De Beers.
