According to UralPolit.Ru, the deputies of Yamalo-Nenetckiy Autonomous Region have approved the amendments into the regional law ‘On Natural Resources’. These amendments provide more distinct regulation in the field of geological searching and deposits exploitation.

The principal purposes of the amendments are to establish the mechanisms of geological exploration investing, to define the sources of geological works financing according to the law on regional and federal budgets.
