PRIME-TASS reports that ALROSA Company is starting to search industrial diamonds in Irkutsk region. According to the licence of Russian Ministry of Natural Resources obtained by the company in 2004, geological works will be conducted in course of the nearest five years in the north of the region. Actually searching works were started there in 1940-s and brought promising results. However, such pipes as Mir and Udachnaya were not discovered that time.
