Nakanune.ru reports that Canadian Tzar Emerald Corporation CEO Donald Padgett announced that Canadian investors intended to invest $12 mln into Kapitalnaya emerald mine (Malyshevo settl.). The announcement was made during the meeting with the first deputy chairman of Sverdlovsk region administration Vladimir Molchanov.

Kapitalnaya mine belongs to CJSC Zelen Kamen. Its principal shareholders are Norfin and Kabal Development Ltd. The company mines emeralds and some other minerals but now it needs additional investments for its deposits exploitation.
