According to Interfax, in 2004 MMC Norilsk Nickel can invest over $30 mln into gold deposits exploration. This information has been given by the first vice president of Polus gold mining company Vladimir Sovmen during the Investment forum of regional development. Polus Company is the largest gold mining company in Russia, 100% of it being the property of MMC Norilsk Nickel.

Mr Sovmen?s report contained, in particular, the information that the company can invest $3mln into gold deposit development in Krasnoyarsk krai.
