Interfax reported that the net profit of OJSC Novosibirsk Refining Factory in 2003 increased by 21,5% as compared to 2002 figures. According to the company’s CEO, it amounted to 130.617 mln roubles.

This increase happened due to growth of production realisation and due to the growth of prices in non-ferrous metals market.

Recently the number of refining factories in Russia has increased up to 10, but the amount of raw metals has not grown. It caused strong competition between refining companies.
