According to RIA Novosti, the volume of Russia’s gold and currency reserves amounts now to $84 bln. The head of the Bank of Russia Sergey Ignatyev, while presenting annual report to the deputies of the State Duma, mentioned that these reserves are sufficient for rouble course strengthening. He informed as well that the volume of gold is 300 tons.
