OJSC Polimetall announces about licences obtaining for precious metals export in 2004. Last year the company exported the first export supply, according to the last year licence.

OJSC Polimetall has become the first Russian company to export precious metals. Earlier only banks and jewellery companies had been allowed to fulfil export operations.

The first export supplies of precious metals the company plans to fulfil in April 2004. Gold and silver will be transported to Great Britain, Switzerland and UAE. The total volume of metals exported amounts to 600 kg of gold nad about 200 tons of silver.
