Independent Information Agency reports that OJSC Lena Gold plans to increase gold mining volume this year by 13.47%, up to 11 tons.

Gold mining companies of Irkutsk region will be able in 2004 to enhance the volume of precious meal mining by 8.25% up to 18 tons.

These forecasts are based on the fact that this year due to early spring it has become possible to start gold mining in the region earlier.
